What Can The Lost City Magicians offer your business, Festival or Event?
We're glad you asked! Here are some reasons why you would make us a part of your team.
1.You'll hire us because we can dramatically enhance the experience of your patrons. Think about it. Of the people that come into your establishment, we can dramatically enhance their experience.
2.They are going to come back.
3. They are going to come back sooner
4.Word of mouth. They are going to tell other people about the experience, That's going to bring more people to come in as well.
5.We can help facilitate the turning over of flow and increase revenue. You may think that we'll slow down the flow of people and cause a drag, but that is not the case. We are here to help wrap things up. At the end, while waiting for the other members of their party or wondering if they should come into the gift shop, or check the vendor's tables, we come by and say "Hello, how are you doing?", Do a magic trick and say "While you're here, why not have another look around, and thank you for coming by (insert name of event) Have a great time, we look forward to seeing you soon."
6.We can help with delays, keep people entertained while waiting to get inside.
7.We can use magic to attract a crowd and point them towards your business.Think about that, a roving commercial, a spokesman and pitchman, garunteed to attract a crowd, and it's all about your business! We can even hand out fliers at the end of a performance along with a pitch promoting you. Or...
8.We can even custom tailor an illusion to advertise your business! let them have a souvenir of your establishment that they will carry and show more people than any business card could.
9.We keep people entertained and happy, increase reservations and flow of customers, and money from outside patrons unsure if they would like to come in. Nothing sells a business more than happy, repeat customers. Nothing draws a crowd to an event, festival, party, nightclub, or shows your corporate workers that you care, than by having entertainment that they would want to see. And that entertainment, is us.
No matter what your business is, We feel that we could be a perfect fit with what you are doing.

We Are Now Proud to Say We Are The Only Cherokee Performers To Have The 'Little People' Working With Us!
Who are 'The Little People'?
'The Little People', helpful spirits to the Cherokee, similar to fairies and ghosts. The Little People lived with the Cherokee‚ and some followed them on the Trail of Tears to Oklahoma.
The Choctaw and Seminole called them Kawnakuasha- the little helper. The Cherokee called them Sgili (sss-gee-lee) the 'g' is a hard 'g' like in 'girl' or 'get'. it meant a 'witch' or 'mischeivious spirit'. Since this one is helping us in our Cherokee magic shows, he's going to be 'Conjuror' in Cherokee or da-du-ne-s-gi (dah-dew-nay-sss-gee) again, a hard 'g' sound. Tongue-tied yet?

Their personal names were kept in secret, if they had any,so people couldn't harm them, lest the creature's tribe were angered and then you had a whole swarm of the things on you.
Many of them were described as having fangs. Especially in the plains, where they went out with war parties, biting the jugulars of the enemy horses and heel tendons of the warriors.

They were described as the face, hands and feet to be bare. The rest of the body was described as having white or gray fur on them. They had no tails, but had horns on their heads, like a devil.

There is a story of a Choctaw medicine man Dr. Billy Washington "Uncle Billy" who was said to be one of the last to have one of the little people as a helper. The legend states that once he had a photo taken of him, by a newspaper. He insisted on posing next to an empty stool. When the photo was developed, there was the creature standing on the stool next to Billy, mimicking his pose. It was said that he walked to his patients houses at night, with no lantern, but a strange glowing orb followed him, lighting his path. This was the little person, guiding him.
Billy Washington died in the 1930's. The little people however, are immortal. Able to live on, even when their body has died. They live on, living between this world and the next, looking for ones worthy of their help, to those who are worthy in helping their tribe. The story ends with people saying they can still see the orbs bouncing along the old roads he used to walk, a 'ghost light' that is supposed to be that little person, looking for a new companion.
Ours was given to us in a mysterious box that had the inscription "Who ever owns this box, is responsible for what is trapped inside"

It's a very sacred and strong belief to Native Americans. We feel Blessed and honored to have one in our possession, helping us keep our Native Amaerican Beliefs alive. Our Little Person makes predictions, moves objects, pulls in ghosts to communicate with the living, finds cards, signs them and more! It is definitely something you have to see to believe!
